Another weekend with family - the Adams

Hi everyone! I had another fun weekend spending more time with family. The Adams (Dad's sister and family) came up from Florida. This includes my Aunt Heather and cousins, Brendon and Mitchell. Uncle Mike couldn't make it because he had to work.

Here's a pretty bad attempt to get all the grandsons in a pic with Grandma Laird. It was her birthday on Sat! But as you can see, Mom didn't do to well getting a good pic. Hopefully Aunt Heather got a better one we can post later.
Me and Aunt Heather
Opening presents - I am getting better!
Starting to see the entertainment in paper crunching.
Me in my new hat on my fire engine. All the grandsons have the same hat so we will have to try to get a pic with all of them together with the hats.
Honking the horn.
The fire engine stays at Grandpa and Grandma's but the Adams got me my very own riding toy for home. I think its pretty darn cool!
Playing with the toys on my new riding mobile.
I just love to eat!
Overly excited to eat! :)
The Adams also got me new pajamas . . .
. . . with my name on the butt. :) Too bad I wear diapers and can't take full advantage of the butt flap. :)
Overall is was a great weekend and thank you so much to the Adams for all the awesome gifts!! ((HUGS))

Laundry!

After a long weekend away, we had lots of laundry to do! :)

Christmas in NY!

I had a busy weekend visiting family in upstate NY. Mom, ,Dad, Grandma Weber, Uncle Jay, and I drove up to Aunt Jeanne's house in Penn Yan, NY. I got to meet a whole lot of family that I had never met before and we got lots of pictures. We had a great time and I did really well in the car for the 5.5 hr trip.

Playing with Melissa (Mom's cousin) and Lauren (Melissa's daughter)
Lauren and Aubrey playing tag. They are my third cousins I guess.Laughing with Grandma Weber
Playing airplane with Daddy
I thought Grandma Weber was by far the funniest one there all weekend. I gave her so many laughs and smiles!
Trying to take J.C.'s sticker (J.C. is mom's cousin).
Sittin' with Great Grandma Judy
Aubrey let me play with her Care Bear. She's so sweet!
Me and Mom and my new blanket Aunt Sharon made me.
Opening my first Christmas presents with mom. Unlike other babies, I actually wasn't too interested in the paper and really wanted to play with my new toys.
Trying to get all the kiddos to sit, face the camera, and smile at one time. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
Lauren, Alexandria, Aubrey, and Me
Watching South park with the men before dinner.
Daddy, Uncle Jay, Andy (Lauren and Aubrey's Dad) and Me.
Playing on the floor with the girls. I was a lucky man!
It was Grandma's Birthday on the 11th so we had cake. Too bad Mom wouldn't let me have any. :(
Playing with Daddy!
Smiles with Melissa!
My first experience with snow! It wasn't too bad but not somewhere I would want to spend a lot of time.My butt print!

Visit with the Ashers!

Dad's friends, Kevin and Maria, were visiting from Boston and Kevin's parents were so nice to let me, Mom, and Dad come over to their big family dinner so we could see them.

Smiles with "Aunt" Maria

Egg Babies Concert!

So Mom's friend Sarah's boyfriend, Chris, is in a band called the Egg Babies (www.myspace.com/eggbabiesorchestra) and they played a kids concert at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson and I got to go. This was one of the first times they did a kids concert. They did a great job and it was a lot of fun!

That's Chris in the middle with the red and white sweater.
Though I may look unhappy, I really was happy to see "Aunt" Alayna.
Singing and dancing with "Aunt" Sarah
Dancing with Mommy! I kept my hat on when they were playing since it was pretty loud but I didn't mind it (the hat or the loud music).
Trying to get Daddy's beer. We actually did let G taste it after we dipped our finger in it and surprisingly, he liked it. Uh oh! That can't be a good sign . . .

Surgery is scheduled!

Gavin's surgery for his ear tubes is scheduled for Dec 31. It was the earliest appt we could get. :( We will need a lot of fingers crossed hoping he does not get more ear infections between now and then (he got another one over thanksgiving break). There is quite a lot involved even before the surgery. We have to get a physical done by his pediatrician, a hearing test, and an appt with the Dr before the surgery. He is scheduled for the first appt on Dec 31 but he is not allowed to eat past midnight. We are suppose to call on Dec 30 to get the exact time of the appt. We are really hoping it is way early in the AM like 6:00 because how do you explain to a 9 month old he is not allowed to eat. I will tell you, you don't!, which means we will have a very cranky baby on our hands if this appt is later than 7.
