Day 3 - March 24

Since Gavin is not nursing well, we are feeding him by inserting a feeding tube attached to a syringe filled with breastmilk and as he sucks on our finger, we push in the milk. This is suppse to help not deter any attempts to breastfeed like a bottle would.

Day 2 - March 23 - Our Little Family!

NICU

Gavin stayed in the NICU from birth till about 7PM. Michelle only got to see him briefly when they moved her bed from recovery to a normal room. It was a long day without her baby but Daddy and Grandma Weber visited him often while in the NICU.

Michelle's water broke about 3AM on Friday night (the night of her Dad's wedding). They went to hospital and Gavin was still in the breech postion so he was born by C-section. Michelle never felt any contractions. Mother and baby are doing well but Gavin needed to spend some time in the NICU just to keep an eye on him. Oh and Gavin shares his birthday with his Grandpa Weber!
